The most stunning rare full length pink & green silk embroidered Afghan coat in a very rare large size. A must have for any collector of these stunning coats. I have never seen one like this for sale before in such fantastic vintage condition. Especially in a large size. Similar to the jackets Jimi Hendrix wore.
The left cuff is a little more sparse of shearling, but it is not noticeable once on. One eyelet has come off but it is in the pocket.
The afghan coat made its debut appearance onto the London fashion scene in 1966 as the swinging city began to turn its attention towards all things of Asian influence.
