A stunning cream woollen 1960s wedding dress with a photo of the original owner wearing it in 1967 with a hand written postcard explaining the history of this dress. 

This woollen wedding dress was designed and made in the workshop of the National Theatre when it was the Old Vic, Waterloo Road for a wedding in 1967. It was created by the men's main cutter Stephen Skaptason and a Canadian from Stratford, Ontario and costume supervisor Ivan Alderman.

It is full length with long train, shawl collar the sleeves with slight split, with hook and eye fastening, lined with a front fastening zip for a good fit.

Condition Report

The woven wool on the right shoulder has a small rip to it and the underside of the train has stains on it from being worn. Please see photos.
